Change a post's publish date

You can change the publication date on posts. Changing the publication date affects the order in which a post appears on your site and whether or not the post appears on your feed page. This article explains how to edit a publish date.

Warning

Changing the publication date of a post on your homepage, or changing a date so an older post reappears on your homepage, may trigger another email campaign to your subscribers.

Before you start

• You will need a user account with an Editor, Author, or Contributor role. To edit another user's post, you must be an Editor.
• Users on our standard Blog Plan should reference the instructions at the end of this article. 

Steps

1. Open a post to edit.
2. In the Publish menu, click Edit near the calendar icon:
   
   
   
   
3. Change the date, then click OK.
4. Publish or update the post.
