After you log in to your site, selecting and registering a domain should be one of your first steps. As the domain registration process can take several hours to update in our systems, you'll want to complete these steps early in the launch process.
The Site Settings menu lets you search for and register a domain to use for your site. The yearly cost for registering a domain is included in your LexBlog subscription.
If you have already registered a domain on your own, you will need to add the domain in the Domain Name menu and then change the name servers in with your registrar.
- On the left hand menu, click Site Settings > Domain Name.
- Under Domain Registration, select I need to find and register a domain:
- Enter a domain, then click Search.
- Select the available domain or search for another one.
- Click Register.
After registering your domain, continue with site setup steps, such as adding users or content.
You will point your domain and launch your site after completing the remaining setup steps.
