Users on our Full Service plan blogs can now view automated readability analysis provided by the Yoast Content Analysis Tool. The tool analyzes posts for metrics such as sentence length, paragraph length, number and distribution of subheadings, use of passive voice, and the number of transition words.
The Content Analysis Tool appears underneath the post editor and auto-updates as you type. Red, yellow, and green circles indicate readability scores on various factors. Click on the eye graphic to highlight the relevant section of your post:
The tool can be disabled in two ways:
- At the top of the post editing window, click "Screen options", then uncheck "Yoast SEO".
- Go to Users > All Users. Edit a user, then scoll down and check "Disable readability analysis".
