Remove an Author, Editor, or Contributor from your blog


Removing a user from a blog revokes their access to the blog, but does not change the author byline of
any posts assigned to the user.

Users can be removed from individual blogs but will remain registered on our network unless you contact LexBlog after removing the user from their affiliated blogs. LexBlog cannot remove users from our network until you have reassigned their posts to other authors.

Before you start

You'll need a user account with Editor permissions.


  1. Log in to your blog administration area:
  2. Navigate to Users > All Users:
  3. Hover your mouse over the username you wish to remove from the blog. Click "Remove" below the username:
  4. On the “Remove Users from Site” confirmation page, click the “Confirm Removal” button:
