Before a blog can be included in the LexBlog Network, its RSS feed must meet the minimum requirements below, and we recommend it also adheres to the list of best practices below.
Minimum Requirements
- The RSS feed must get a green square of approval on https://validator.w3.org/feed/
- The RSS feed must contain a
element to the original URI of the post.
- The RSS feed must not execute a JavaScript redirect on the original url of the post.
- If the RSS feed provides an
field, each
must be a single email address.
- If the feed provides a
field, each
joe@dallas.example.com (John Doe)

Best Practices
For best results, we recommend the following.
- The RSS feed should get zero “recommendations“ on https://validator.w3.org/feed/.
- The RSS feed should contain no more than 20 items.
- The RSS feed should contain the full content of the post, OR a
element to the original url of the post, where that URI displays the full content via a common CMS such as WordPress.
- The RSS feed should contain a
field for each author, or an
field for each author.
