Create an email list

Your site's email subscribers are stored in a list hosted by MailChimp. Before you can send email campaigns to subscribers, you must create a list through the Site Settings menu. This article explains creating an email list.


Before you start

  • You must have a user account with an Administrator role.
  • Your site must be on a Professional, Boutique, or Full Service plan.



  1. Navigate to Site Settings > Email Notifications.
  2. Fill in the fields listed under Subscriber List Settings. See About Email Notifications settings for a description of each field.
  3. Click Create List.
