Sharing a Preview of Your Draft Post

Before you publish a post, you may want feedback from others — including people who aren't registered users on your site. LexBlog makes this easy with the public preview feature, which generates a shareable link to your draft.

Previewing with site users

If the people you want feedback from are already active users on your site, they can simply log in and view the draft directly — no extra steps needed.

Sharing with non-users

To share a draft with someone who doesn't have a login on your site, you can generate a temporary preview link:

  1. Open the post in the editor.
  2. In the right-hand panel, under Publish, check the box labeled Enable 48 hour public preview.
  3. A preview URL will be generated. Copy this link and send it to anyone you'd like to review the post.

This link allows recipients to view the draft without logging in, and it expires automatically 48 hours after being enabled.

Don't see this option?

If the "Enable 48 hour public preview" checkbox isn't appearing in your post editor, reach out to us at success@lexblog.com and our team will work to enable this feature on your publication site.
