What is Voice?
Voice is a text-to-voice feature available on LexBlog Platform, allowing readers to listen to an automated recording of each post. The feature is powered by Amazon Polly, with recordings created asynchronously and stored in the cloud.
What accent and voice options are available?
Male and female voices with American, English and Australian accents are available for selection by blog administrators.
Who can add this? What does it cost?
This feature is available to all Blackstone plan blogs on the LexBlog Platform. If your blog is already on the Blackstone plan, this feature is covered already in your subscription cost and available to add. Please reach out to our Success team if you want to talk about an upgrade and for your pricing.
How long does this feature take to add?
The feature can be activated relatively quickly. If your blog is already on a Blackstone plan, it can be activated in a matter of days—or less. If your blog needs to be upgraded to Blackstone first, there are other elements we’ll discuss with you as far as timing.
What posts does this apply to?
The player will start appearing on all new posts published after the feature was activated. However, if you want to add it to older posts, users can do so by going into older posts and simply hitting ‘Update’.
