Set a sticky post

A sticky post appears above ordinary posts on your blog's front page. This article explains how to make or remove a sticky post.

Note

Sticky status does not affect whether a post appears in your RSS feed. A sticky post also does not override a separate Featured Post homepage section.

Before you start

• You need an Author role or higher.
• Know the basics of editing a post.

Make a post sticky

1. Open a post to edit.
2. In the Post sidebar's Summary, click the current value beside Status.
3. In the Status & visibility popover, select Sticky.
4. Click Save for a published post, or publish the draft.

Remove sticky status

1. Open the post and open its Status popover.
2. Clear Sticky, then click Save.
