Send a Pending Review email

You can alert specific Editors or Administrators when a post is ready for review. The Pending Review Notifier sends an email to those users when a post status changes from:

• Draft to Pending Review
• Published to Pending Review
• Pending Review to Publish

This article explains how to alert a user when a post is ready for review.

Before you start

• Know how to edit a post.
• Your site must be on a Bradwell or Blackstone plan, or on the Enterprise Platform.
• Your site administrator must configure the Pending Review Notifier.

Draft to Pending Review

1. Open a post to edit.
2. Navigate to the Post tab in the right sidebar.
   
3. In the Status & visibility panel, click the Pending review checkbox:

4. Click Publish

Published to Pending Review

1. Open a post to edit.
2. In the top navigation bar click Switch to draft.

3. Navigate to the Post tab in the right sidebar.
   
4. In the Status & visibility panel, click the Pending review checkbox.
5. Click Update.

Pending Review to Publish

1. Navigate to the Post tab in the right sidebar.
   
2. In the Status & visibility panel, click the Pending review checkbox.
3. Click Publish.
