The Media Library contains images, documents, and other files that you can insert into posts and pages. You can use the library to edit and crop images, or to add alt text or captions. This articles explains how to add media to the Media Library.
Before you start
- You'll need a user account with an Author role or higher.
- Save a supported file type to your computer.
- Click Media > Add New.
- Click Select Files.
- In the new menu, select one or more files. Click Open.
