LexBlog supports oEmbed to add videos, polls, quizzes, slide shows, and other media to posts and pages. oEmbed allows you to insert this content by pasting the URL inside a post or page. LexBlog provides a list of services that use the oEmbed format. This article explains how to embed media in posts or pages.
Note
We do not support uploading videos. Services such as YouTube and Vimeo will provide a better experience for you and your readers.
Shortcodes for embedding media are not supported.
iFrame tags are only supported on Enterprise Platform sites.
Script tags are disabled for security reasons.
Before you start
- Know the basics of editing a post or page.
Steps
- Find or upload media on a service that supports oEmbed.

Copy the media's URL from your browser address bar:
- Open a post or page to edit. Then add an Embed block with the block inserter.
- Paste the URL into the Embed block and the video, podcast player, etc. will be added to the post.
- Update the post or page.
