Users will receive an email when certain administrative actions are completed on the LexBlog Platform. These messages are called transactional or triggered emails and are distinct from email campaigns sent to subscribers after a post if published. This article explains transactional emails.
For security reasons, LexBlog cannot view or change your password, or change your user profile email address. Please contact the site administrator at your organization for these tasks.
Types of transactional emails
You will receive a transactional email when:
- An administrator adds you to a site
- You request a new password
- You log in from a new location or IP address
- You create a new site
- A site administrator changes your password or profile email address
Transactional email headers
Transactional emails from LexBlog contain the following header information:
- From: LexBlog <email@example.com>
- SPF: @notifications.lexblog.com
- DKIM: lexblog.com
- Received: from o1.notifications.lexblog.com (o1.notifications.lexblog.com. [220.127.116.11])
