Create Adobe Fonts web project for your site

Adobe Fonts (formerly named Typekit) is a subscription service you can use to license and load web fonts on sites. Due to licensing restrictions, you must use your own Adobe Fonts account for typography on your site. Alternatively, Google Fonts is free and integrated with the LexBlog Platform.

Before you start

You'll need:

Steps

  1. Log in to Adobe Fonts with your Adobe ID.
  2. Search for the Font Family you want to use.
  3. Click the </> button or </> Add to Web Project link for the font you want to use.
  4. If this is your first Web Project, type a name in Enter a new project name. If it's not your first Web Project:
    1. Click the down arrow next to Create or add to an existing project...
    2. Click + Create a new project
    3. Enter a project name in Create or add to existing project...
  5. Under the name of the font, click the checkboxes to add the Font Selection for your Font Family per the table below or requested by LexBlog. Be sure to scroll to review the entire list and deselect any fonts not in the table below.
  6. Click Create.
  7. Copy the embed code starting with <link rel="stylesheet" and ending with .css">.
  8. If there is more than one Font Family needed for your site, repeat the steps above except steps 4.2 and 4.3, instead selecting the web project you just created.
  9. Send LexBlog the embed code for your Adobe Fonts web project.
  10. Keep your Adobe Creative Cloud subscription current to ensure the fonts load on your site.
