How do I create and edit a blog post?

Creating or editing a post is simple. From your dashboard, go to Posts and either click Add New or select an existing post to edit. You’ll use a visual editor to add your title, content, links, and media. When you’re ready, you can publish immediately, schedule for later, or save as a draft.

Need help with the editor or formatting options? See step-by-step instructions here and here.

How do I schedule a blog post for future publication?

To schedule a post, create your content as usual, then adjust the publish date under the “Publish” settings. Select your desired date and time, click Schedule, and your post will go live automatically at that time.

Want to double-check scheduled posts or make edits before they publish? Learn how here.

How do I add images to my blog post?

To add an image, add an /image block into the post editor and choose a file from your media library or upload a new one. You can insert images directly into your content or set a featured image to display alongside the post title on your site and in email updates.

Need guidance on alignment, size, or accessibility? Explore our image tips.

How do I format text in my blog post?

You can style your text using the editor toolbar — apply bold or italic, add links, create headings, or build lists. The editor also supports quotes, dividers, and HTML for advanced formatting.

How do I add a new user to my blog?

If you’re an Administrator or Editor, go to Users > Add New, fill in the user’s info, assign a role (like Author or Editor), and click Add New User. The person will get an email with login instructions and access based on their role.

Need help choosing the right role or editing permissions? Check out our user guide.

How do I remove a user from my blog?

To remove a user, go to Users, find the person you’d like to delete, and click Delete next to their name. You’ll be prompted to either delete their content or assign it to another user before confirming. See full instructions.

How do I send email campaigns?

LexBlog supports two types of email campaigns:

Breaking News (manual, one-post alerts) and RSS Campaigns (automated digests).

Not sure which option fits your needs? Compare campaign types.

How do I publish a post without sending an email?

If your blog uses Mailchimp for automated emails, new posts trigger a campaign when they appear in your RSS feed. To prevent this, set the post’s publish date to a time earlier than the oldest item currently in your feed.

Keep in mind:

Posts with older dates may not show on your blog’s homepage.

You’ll need Author access or higher to change publish dates.

Not sure how to check your feed or adjust the date? Follow the step-by-step instructions here.

How do I reset my password?

Click “Lost your password?” on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the reset link we send. If the email doesn’t arrive, check your spam folder or verify the email address used.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

From your profile or account settings, look for the 2FA or Two-Factor Authentication option in the left sidebar of the admin dashboard. Choose your method (authenticator app, text, or email), follow the setup steps, and store your backup codes somewhere safe.
